Exceptional achievement

Ofsted found that our trainees excel in developing the knowledge, skills and professional judgement needed to become expert teachers.

Our carefully designed programme enables trainees to become confident, reflective practitioners who use research, expert mentoring and continual feedback to refine their teaching throughout the year. By the time they achieve Qualified Teacher Status, they are fully prepared for the realities of a successful teaching career.

A curriculum built on research and expertise

Our curriculum is ambitious, evidence-informed and carefully sequenced to ensure trainees continually build and revisit the knowledge that matters most.

Through expert-led Professional Studies, subject-specific training, Intensive Training and Practice (ITAP), instructional coaching and classroom experience, trainees develop a deep understanding of both teaching and learning.

Every aspect of the programme is designed to bridge educational research with classroom practice, helping trainees become thoughtful, independent professionals.

Exceptional mentoring

 We believe exceptional teachers are developed through exceptional mentoring.

Our mentors are expert classroom practitioners who receive comprehensive training and ongoing professional development. They provide precise coaching, purposeful feedback and consistent support throughout the training year.

This close partnership between mentors, subject leaders and teacher educators ensures every trainee receives high-quality guidance tailored to their development.

Inclusive teacher training

Our trainees learn to teach in diverse school communities and develop the knowledge and confidence to support all learners, including pupils with SEND and those experiencing disadvantage.

Alongside academic and professional support, we provide personalised pastoral support to help trainees succeed throughout the programme.

Ofsted recognised the strength of our inclusive culture and the proactive support available to trainees across all routes into teaching.
