Mathematics and Science Scholarship

At Future Teacher Training, we are committed to supporting talented individuals into the teaching profession—including those who can make a meaningful impact in Mathematics and Science education. Our Mathematics and Science Scholarship is designed to recognise potential, reward excellence and strengthen STEM teaching across our schools.

We are pleased to offer a £10,000 scholarship to trainees specialising in Mathematics and Science. This scholarship supports candidates training via our salaried route, enabling them to train, qualify, and begin their teaching careers within Future Academies.

We welcome applications from individuals with strong academic backgrounds, a commitment to high standards and a passion for improving outcomes in Mathematics and Science classrooms. We are particularly keen to support those who can demonstrate resilience, growth, and the ability to overcome challenges, as well as those who may be underrepresented in the teaching profession.

Successful candidates will:

• Receive a £10,000 scholarship during their training year

• Train within a Future Academies school in London or Hertfordshire

• Work alongside a network of trainee teachers and experienced practitioners

• Gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE

• Begin their careers within a high-performing and supportive Trust

Through this scholarship, we continue our commitment to delivering a knowledge-rich curriculum and ensuring every pupil has access to an excellent STEM education.
